Call for Papers – 31st International Student Conference ŠVA 2025
The Faculty of Economics at Matej Bel University cordially invites students to participate in the 31st International Student Conference (ŠVA 2025). This event provides an opportunity for students to present their research and analyses in the fields of economics, social sciences, applications of quantitative methods, and informatics.

Location: Faculty of Economics, Matej Bel University, Banská Bystrica, Slovakia (participation available both in-person and online)
Topics and Target Audience
The conference focuses on various aspects of economics and social sciences. It serves as a platform for bachelor’s and master’s students to showcase their talent, analytical skills, and creativity. A professional committee will evaluate the best papers and award prizes.

January 17, 2025 – Topics for students of FE MBU published on the faculty’s website
February 14, 2025 – Application deadline
March 24, 2025 – Submission of papers electronically
March 31, 2025 – Submission of supervisor evaluations
Participation Fee and Additional Information
Participation in the conference is free of charge. Papers can be submitted individually, in pairs, or as a group under the supervision of a consultant.
