Project-Based Learning: Széchenyi Students Develop a Marketing Plan for a Construction Company
One of Széchenyi István University’s new initiatives, the Student Project Support Program, focuses on acquiring practical knowledge and project-oriented skills. During the recently concluded semester, commerce and marketing students developed a marketing plan for the Hora Group, a well-known company in the construction industry. Thanks to this initiative, students gained real-world corporate and labor market experience.
Global Banking and Finance Association (GLOBAFA) Conference call
The Global Banking and Finance Association (GLOBAFA) Conference will take place in Budapest on 30-31 May 2025 at the Mathias Corvinus Collegium. The aim of the conference is to bring together experts, researchers and practitioners from the banking and finance sector from around the world to share and discuss their research findings.
International Conference on Innovation and Enterprise Research – ENTrenova 2025
ENTrenova (ENTerprise REsearch InNOVAtion) is an international, multidisciplinary conference dedicated to discussing innovation, information technology, education, and research and development from economic, management, and marketing perspectives. The conference aims to provide a platform for companies and academic researchers to share knowledge and present the latest developments.

Széll Kálmán Student Association's students visited the Paks Nuclear Power Plant on a study trip
The students of the Széll Kálmán College of Economic and Data Science at Széchenyi István University recently participated in a study trip, during which they visited Hungary's most significant nuclear facility, the Paks Nuclear Power Plant. The aim of the event was to provide students with first-hand knowledge about one of the key pillars of the country's energy production, as well as to expand their professional and scientific perspectives. During the visit, participants gained insight into the operation of the power plant, learned about the application of nuclear technology, and explored its economic and environmental aspects.
