A team from the Department of Tourism and Hospitality participated in a study tour
The Department of Tourism and Hospitality team once again participated in a joint team-building program this year. This time, Budapest was chosen as the venue, where they enjoyed a fulfilling day rich in unique experiences. The program's highlights were visits to the Dohány Street Synagogue and the Four Seasons Hotel.
The first stop of the day was the Dohány Street Synagogue, where the colleagues learned about the history of the place, as well as discussed the relationship between Jewish culture and tourism. Then, they had a special gastronomic experience at a fine dining restaurant. After that, they visited the Pharaoh's Tomb escape room, from which our colleagues successfully escaped. Finally, at the Four Seasons Hotel, the department staff gained insight into the operation of luxury hotels and their role in urban tourism.
The Faculty of Tourism traditionally organizes similar team-building programs annually, which play a crucial role in strengthening relationships among colleagues and enhancing collaboration. Given the faculty's focus on tourism and hospitality, these events often feature city tours, interactive cultural programs, and activities designed to inspire future work with students.
By the end of the event, everyone agreed that such occasions contribute not only to professional development but also to fostering more informal and friendly relationships among colleagues.
