An important part of the mission of the Kautz Gyula Economics Student Association is to expose its members not only to opportunities within Hungary but also internationally, helping them in their professional development and broadening their perspectives. In this spirit, we were particularly pleased to have the opportunity on November 5, 2024, to join an online meeting in collaboration with the Széll Kálmán Data Science Student Assocation. This meeting allowed us to introduce the city of Győr, Széchenyi István University, and our association's activities to the student representatives of the Business Analytics and Information Management Student Association (BAIMSA) at the Daniels School of Business, Purdue University, in the United States. The meeting provided an excellent chance to directly learn about a student organization in the U.S., as well as an opportunity for Kautz Gyula Student Assocation members to build connections that could further strengthen our international collaborations in the future.

BAIMSA, based at the Daniels School of Business at Purdue University, is a U.S.-based professional college that brings together students interested in business analytics and information management. The college aims to prepare its members for modern challenges in digital and data analytics and develop the skills needed to thrive in corporate environments. BAIMSA members participate in internships and projects that enable close connections with industry players, furthering their practical knowledge.

Collaborations and cultural exchanges play a crucial role in the growth of Kautz Gyula Economics Srudent Association and in expanding our members’ international network. Moving forward, our goal is to provide more such opportunities for our members, as we believe that an open, diverse, and internationally connected community not only supports students' personal development but also, in the long run, enhances the competitiveness of Hungarian higher education on a global scale.
