The RENT (Research in ENTrepreneurship) conference, held at the Audencia Business School in Nantes, France, from 13-15 November 2024, was entitled "The Multiple Faces of Entrepreneurship". The leading European conference in entrepreneurship research attracted around 300-350 speakers who presented in 5 blocks and 16 parallel sessions. From leading researchers and PhD students in the field, the participants were able to experience many facets of the research field through presentations organised around the themes of "technology and academic entrepreneurship", "social and sustainable entrepreneurship", "female entrepreneurship", "business models and international entrepreneurship", and "entrepreneurship education, entrepreneurial ecosystems".

The pre-conference Professional Development Workshops offered participants the opportunity for practical knowledge transfer, experience exchange and professional networking. During these workshops, I adapted a new teaching method, the Finnish "TREE" idea management method based on future consciosness, which can be used in innovation management courses.

The presentation, prepared together with my colleague Attila Makai and delivered in the Entrepreneurship Education session, received several questions and suggestions that could be useful for the revision of our journal article currently under 2nd round of peer review. The conference was a great opportunity for networking and gathering experience in conference organisation, and in this context I had provisionally invited Prof. Dimo Dimov, Professor at the University of Bath and one of the editors of the prestigious journal Entrepreneurship Theory and Praxis (ETP), to be one of the keynote speakers at next year's Danube Cup conference.
