Professional content meets "experiential elements"
The „Lipót Thermalbath and Spa & Camping” facility hosted a study trip on 21 November 2024, which combined professional and experiential elements. The event was attended by students enrolled in the „Spa Management” course.
Petra Gaál-Pannonhalmi, Spa Manager, presented an overview of the facility's history, followed by an insight into the operational aspects of the spa. A highlight of the programme was the opportunity for students to experience the spa's services, including the thermal pools and sauna. The event finished with a catering service provided by the Thermal Restaurant.
As a continuation of the collaboration with the „Spa Management” course, Petra Gaál-Pannonhalmi, the Spa Manager will assess the students' project work related to the theme of the „Lipót Spa” in the final week of the academic term, in accordance with the principles of project-based, practice-oriented education.
The participants would like to express their gratitude to Petra Gaál-Pannonhalmi, the manager of the spa complex, for providing the opportunity to gain professional experience and for her kind hospitality.
The trip was made possible thanks to the financial support of the Student Self-Government.
The programme was organised by Erzsébet Dr. Printz-Markó, Assistant Professor at the Department of Tourism and Hospitality.
