The Economics, Legal, and Social Sciences Committee of MTA-VEAB and the Foundation for the Humanities in Veszprém

are organizing an interdisciplinary committee conference titled

Improving Quality of Life – Artificial Intelligence – Sovereignty

Conference Objective:

This is the third time our committee has organized an interdisciplinary conference on quality of life research. The publication from the previous event can be read at the following link: https://tab.mta.hu/files/5116/1113/9431/Eletminoseg_kotet.pdf.

In connection with this ongoing research process, we invite 20-minute section presentations from representatives of various disciplines, examining modern quality of life opportunities within social sciences amidst contemporary challenges. Key topics include sustainability, conflicts in civilizational fault lines, environmental culture, environmental protection, new trends in legal sociology, logistics and network culture, data protection and communication, sociological research, regional development challenges, demographic processes, the role of religions in geopolitical struggles, the future of the monetary economic order, economic, political, and cultural phenomena in regional and global spaces, as well as new developments in artificial intelligence and quantum research.

Summaries of the presentations will be published in an abstract booklet with an ISBN, and written versions of the presentations will be published in a conference proceedings volume. Applications can be submitted using the form provided, with a submission deadline of Thursday, November 14, 2024. The deadline for submitting written versions of presentations is January 15, 2025.
