CALL FOR PAPERS & SPECIAL CONFERENCE TRACKS
Dear FEB Zagreb 2024 Odyssey conference’s authors and participants, dear Odyssey friends,
we are pleased to invite you to the next FEB Zagreb 16th International Odyssey Conference on Economics and Business. As your presence at the Conference in its previous 15th edition has resulted with the great success of the 2024 Odyssey conference, we hope to see you again in 2025! Also, if you were satisfied with our Conference, we would be grateful if you could forward this Call for papers & Special Conference Tracks to your colleagues at your institutions! Thank you and hope to see you next year in the beautiful city of Dubrovnik. We are planning a lot of activities for the working part of the Conference, as well as for the social part! Do not miss them!
FEB Zagreb 16th International Odyssey Conference on Economics and Business will take place in the Akademis Academia center in Dubrovnik, Croatia from ️ May 7th till May 10th, 2025, with the possibility of online participation.
In order to present at this hybrid conference, authors can participate with an abstract OR a full paper.
Traditionally, Odyssey conference will have its ordinary conference sessions (general tracks) related to economics and business, as it was in the previous years, whose topics cover Conference’s aims and scope that can be found here.
These general tracks will be complemented with special conference sessions, for which we have opened a Call for Special Track Proposals so that you can propose special track sessions that will contribute to the discussions on key themes.
- We invite proposals that challenge traditional understandings of key topics, explore emerging trends in business and economics, and foster interdisciplinary collaboration, as well as proposals that align with the overall themes of the Odyssey conference and introduce fresh perspectives to stimulate debate on topics that are important for the future of business, economics, and society. - The deadline for submissions is extended until ️ December, 20th, 2024, 23:59.
Keynote Speakers
- Conference’s distinguished keynote speakers are:
- Prof. dr. ARNOLD B. BAKKER, professor and chair of the research group Work and Organizational Psychology at Erasmus University Rotterdam, The Netherlands
- Prof. dr. NICOLAI J. FOSS, professor of Strategy at the Department of Strategy and Innovation, Copenhagen Business School, Denmark
Conference Proceedings
- Full papers will be published in the Conference Proceedings Book (with an ISSN) and submitted for indexation in EBSCO, EconLit, ProQuest, WoS CPCI
- Abstracts will be published in the Conference Book of Abstracts (with an ISBN).
Publishing Opportunity
- selected papers will be considered for publication in the following journals published by the Faculty of Economics & Business Zagreb:
- Zagreb International Review of Economics and Business (ZIREB) (WoS ESCI)
- Acta Turistica (WoS ESCI, Scopus)

The upcoming Conference will also include FEB Odyssey Research Forum – Meet the Editors & FEB Odyssey Business Forum – Navigating Business Growth: The Role of AI in Sustainability and Resilience.
Important Dates (depending upon type of participation)
- February 3rd, 2025 – submission deadline for participants who intend to participate with a FULL PAPER
- April 14th, 2025 – submission deadline for participants who intend to participate with an ABSTRACT ONLY (without a full paper)
