A new cooperation agreement has been established between Széchenyi István University and Sungshin Women's University in South Korea.

The Seoul-based university was founded in 1936, and it is currently regarded as the second most influential women's private university in the country and the 16th best higher education institution in Seoul. The cooperation agreement was made possible through the personal contribution and organization of Associate Professor Dr. Katalin Bándy of the Department of International and Applied Economics, who was requested by the president of the South Korean university to facilitate the official establishment of relations between the two institutions. We would like to thank her outstanding work and hope that a fruitful cooperation can begin between the two universities.
