This year marks the 20th anniversary of the launch of the "EU Studies" course, which is overseen by the Department of International and Applied Economics.

The course aims to provide students with up-to-date knowledge about the historical context of the European unification process, the functioning of the European Union, its institutional framework, its policy foundations, and the most significant challenges affecting its future.

The course is an integral part of the curricula of several programs across multiple faculties at Széchenyi István University, including the Bachelor's and FOSZK degrees in Business Administration and Management, the Bachelor's degree in Tourism and Catering, the Bachelor's degree in Sociology, and the Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management.

The course material overseen by Associate Professor Dr. Katalin Bándy has undergone a complete revision in connection with the jubilee event, ensuring it meets the modern dissemination of new knowledge and the expectations of project-based teaching.
