Preparation of thesis

The thesis is the result of the student’s independent, academic work, which presents both the theoretical foundation and practical application of the chosen topic. Close cooperation with the assigned supervisor is required during its preparation.

The formal and content requirements of the thesis are set out in the faculty regulations, compliance with which is essential for successful submission. Support from the library and external experts is also available during the thesis process.

General information

After selecting a topic, students are required to contact their assigned supervisor.
During the preparation of the thesis, students must consult with their supervisor at least six times, at least one of which must be in person. The supervisor is required to confirm the personal consultation on the evaluation form.

If the supervisor does not respond to the email request within three working days, please report this to kgk.edu@sze.hu.

The involvement of an external supervisor is possible but not mandatory.

The length of the chapters of the thesis – excluding appendices:

  • at least 30 and no more than 50 pages for Bachelor programmes
  • at least 40, maximum 60 pages for Master programmes

Classification (on the request of the company): Our university does not sign contracts for classification and does not undertake any other conditions than the ones outlined in the downloadable declaration. We suggest this issue to be clarified in time to avoid problems later.
