University Library and Archives
The Széchenyi University Library and Archives, located in the INNO-Share building since 2011, offers a wide range of services, including lending, printing, scanning, and access to online resources. It supports research through interlibrary loans, information literacy training, and a Publications Support Programme. The library also hosts the European Documentation Centre, enhancing its role in academic and innovation services.
Dormitories
The university has seven dormitory buildings, five of which are on campus, providing housing for around 3,000 students. Rooms are typically double occupancy, and the newer K0 and K1 buildings offer modern two-room apartments with private bathrooms. Each corridor has communal kitchens and laundry facilities. International students can request accommodation in the new, well-equipped dorms designed to serve as a comfortable and inclusive home away from home.
Sport Facilities
Széchenyi István University offers a wide range of sports facilities for students. There is a modern Training Hall with a gym, and students can enjoy kayaking, canoeing, aerobics, pilates, and more. A large sports hall includes cardio and power rooms, while an off-campus center provides courts for various team sports. Students also have access to mirrored gyms, a martial arts room, and a swimming pool. Many residence halls are equipped with seasonal gyms as well.

Students can choose from a range of professionals, including mental health professionals, psychologists and clinical psychologists. It also organises group sessions, such as stress management relaxation courses and literacy therapy groups, which provide additional support for students.

The Language and Culture Centre of Széchenyi István University offers a variety of language learning opportunities, including language courses and language exam preparation courses. Students can improve their knowledge in German and English, either in professional language classes or in ORIGO-type preparation courses. The University also regularly organises language and cultural programmes to promote practical language use and integration into the international community.
The aim of Széchenyi István University is to provide equal opportunities for all students in their studies. The Committee for Equal Opportunities for Students with Special Needs provides support for students with disabilities or long-term illnesses. Széll Kálmán Talent Management Program in Economics and Data Science
The Széll Kálmán College of Data Science is a talent development community at the Kautz Gyula Faculty of Economics at Széchenyi István University, which focuses on the intersection of data science and economics. Its goal is to help students deepen their knowledge through research projects and professional programs and to actively engage in academic life.
The Pannonia Scholarship Program offers students at Széchenyi István University the opportunity to gain international experience through study, research, or professional internships abroad. The program supports both short- and long-term mobility, encouraging students to broaden their academic and professional horizons. Its aim is to strengthen international cooperation, develop language and intercultural skills, and contribute to students' personal development and employability.
The aim of the CEEPUS (Central European Exchange Program for University Studies) exchange program is to support student and teacher mobility between Central European higher education institutions, as well as the organization of special courses and student trips, thereby promoting the development of long-term professional cooperation and strengthening the strategic role of the region. The countries participating in the program include Albania, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Croatia, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, and Slovenia.
Széchenyi István University participates in the Makovecz Program, which supports student mobility through cooperation with Hungarian institutions abroad. Our partner institutions include Selye János University (Komárno, Slovakia), the Faculty of Central European Studies at Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra (Nitra), and Sapientia Hungarian University of Transylvania (Cluj-Napoca). The program offers opportunities for partial studies and research mobility.
