Thesis topic selection

FOR OUR BACHELOR STUDENTS ›››

FOR OUR MASTER STUDENTS ›››

Choosing a thesis topic is one of the most important steps in the study period, laying the foundation for independent research work. The goal is for students to delve deeply into a problem related to a specific field and become capable of processing it in a scientific manner.

Choosing a topic also gives students the opportunity to address practical or theoretical questions that match their interests. Choosing the right topic is key to writing a successful thesis.

General information

Students are advised to choose a topic related to the knowledge acquired in their own field of study (not tied to a specific department).

Speed is of the essence when applying (similar to applying for exams on Neptun). Only one student can apply for a “slot” at a time, and each student can only apply once. It is not possible to apply for more topics than those displayed.

The topics are general and must be specified with the internal supervisor.

The applications will be finalized by the heads of department; therefore, a change may occur regarding the assigned lecturer.

In the event of an unsuccessful thesis, the provisions of the Education and Exam Regulation shall apply to the further procedure.

Thesis topics

For our Bachelor students

When choosing a topic for your thesis, it is worth looking for an area that arouses your interest and is related to the knowledge you have acquired previously. A well-chosen topic will make the writing process easier and increase your motivation.

For our Master students

The topic of the master's thesis should be chosen in such a way that it provides an opportunity for in-depth study and independent thinking. It is advantageous if the chosen topic fits in with the professional orientation and future goals.
