Three distinguished lecturers of Széchenyi István University — Dr. Éva Happ, Dr. Balázs Horváth and Dr. Zoltán Molnár — have been officially appointed as university professors during a ceremonial event. The honorary titles were presented by Tamás Sulyok, President of the Republic of Hungary, at the Sándor Palace in Budapest.
We are especially pleased to highlight that Dr. Éva Happ, lecturer of the Kautz Gyula Faculty of Business and Economics, is among the awardees — this appointment represents an important milestone not only for the individual, but also for the faculty and the entire university community.
The significance of the event lies in the fact that the title of university professor recognises academic excellence that goes far beyond teaching: professional achievements, publications, mentoring of students and young researchers, as well as contributions to institutional development are all part of the evaluation.
