The Board of Trustees of the Universitas-Győr Foundation announces a scholarship application for the “Mátyás Halbritter Award.”
Eligibility:
Applications are open to full-time students of the Business Administration and Management BSc and the Commerce and Marketing BSc programmes at the Kautz Gyula Faculty of Business and Economics.
Application requirements:
at least two successfully completed active semesters in the programme for which the application is submitted*
at least two active semesters remaining in the programme, including the autumn semester of the 2025/2026 academic year*
proof of intermediate or advanced English or German language exam*
valid student status for the autumn semester of 2025/2026*
outstanding academic performance, evaluated based on the “scholarship index”*
Additional considerations (advantage in evaluation):
Extra achievements, e.g.: participation in Scientific Students’ Associations (TDK), involvement in departmental teaching or research work, participation in academic competitions.**
Scholarship and Award:
One student will be awarded. The prize includes:
a plaque created by Ferenc Lebó, depicting Mátyás Halbritter,
an essay containing the thoughts of the namesake,
a one-time scholarship of 400,000 HUF (covering the period from 1 September 2025 to 30 June 2026).

The application form can be accessed under the “Pályázatok / Applications” menu after login with eduID credentials.
The Evaluation Committee will assess applications by 21 October 2025. Results will be published, applicants will be notified by email, and the winner will sign a scholarship contract with the Board of Trustees.
