From June 24 to 28, 2025, the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality—Ohrid hosted the second coordination meeting of the “Tourism and Agriculture Sustainable Alliances” (#TASA) network, operating within the European CEEPUS academic mobility program.
The meeting brought together network coordinators and representatives from member universities and faculties from Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, and North Macedonia.
Széchenyi István University, Faculty of Business, was represented by Dr. Éva Happ, the Hungarian coordinator of the network.
The primary focus of the meeting was to evaluate the network’s progress, analyse current mobility and cooperation, and plan upcoming joint initiatives and interdisciplinary projects. Special attention was given to the upcoming changes and policy updates within the CEEPUS program, which will come into effect starting from the next academic year.
Participants discussed how these changes may impact the structure and administration of mobilities and explored opportunities for the expansion of the #TASA network through new institutional partnerships and initiatives.
In addition to the working sessions, the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality—Ohrid organised a cultural and recreational program that allowed participants to explore the rich cultural, historical, and natural heritage of Ohrid—a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
