Nearly 70 students from the Kautz Gyula Faculty of Business and Economics took part in a factory visit to the Off-Highway plant of Dana Hungary Kft. in Győr. Dana Hungary Kft. is one of the world’s leading automotive suppliers in the mobility market.
The company’s Hungarian subsidiary plays a prominent role in the development of industry in Győr and the region and is involved in a number of innovative technological developments. The company presented the students with some real problems to be solved in the Process and Quality Management course. During the factory visit, the main products were presented, and the students were given an insight into the manufacturing processes, packaging, and warehousing tasks after production.
The aim of the visit was to give Business Administration and Management students a real-life practical experience to complement their theoretical knowledge, which they can later use in the labor market. At the end of the visit, the students had the opportunity to ask questions to logistics process coordinator László Bakos and process quality coordinator Krisztián Hoffer.
