We said goodbye to Judit Merkó-Benkő

In June, we said goodbye to Judit Merkó-Benkő, who strengthened the University community for three decades.

During her long career, Judit played a decisive role in the daily operations of the University. Thanks to her extensive professional knowledge and decades of experience, her colleagues could turn to her with confidence with any question or problem. Her willingness to help, up-to-date knowledge and practical approach provided support to the university community on countless occasions.

Her colleagues highly appreciated not only her professional preparedness, but also her direct, humane attitude. She always had a kind word for her colleagues, and her cheerfulness and cheerful personality were a natural part of everyday work.

Judit’s work and her decades of activity for the university community were also praised by Eszter Lukács PhD, the Vice President for International and Strategic Relations of Széchenyi István University, who personally bid her farewell. At the farewell, Dean Sándor Remsei PhD and the staff of the Kautz Gyula Faculty of Economics thanked Judit for her dedicated work over the past thirty years.

With her retirement, we bid farewell to a highly experienced and dedicated colleague, whose absence will be felt by the faculty community.

On behalf of all the faculty staff, we thank Judit for her decades of work and wish her good health and much joy in her retirement years!
