Familiar faces and new members: the Tourism Club reopens

On September 24, 2025, at 6:30 PM, the first Tourism Club event of the semester took place, once again hosted in conference room 001 of the Management Campus. Founded in 2019, the Tourism Club continues its original mission: to help students navigate the professional world, find their own voice, and serve as an inspiring meeting point for both the university community and external tourism professionals.

The evening’s guest speaker was not entirely new to the Club. Professor Amanda Cecil, from Indiana University, USA, was welcomed as the event’s speaker. As a visiting lecturer affiliated with the Department of Tourism and Hospitality, she participated not merely as a guest, but as a valued member of the Club community. The Fulbright scholar shared her professional journey, highlighting the importance of human connections and relationships, and illustrating how experiences and connections have shaped her path.

This semester, the Tourism Club will open its doors three more times, continuing to welcome both returning members and newcomers. The next event is scheduled for October 29 at 6:30 PM, with more details to be shared soon.

The Tourism Club events not only provide professional guidance, but also build a community that walks alongside students throughout their academic journey.
