On 24–25 October 2025, Viktória Kundi PhD, Head of the Department of Tourism and Hospitality at the Kautz Gyula Faculty of Business and Economics, Széchenyi István University, participated in the 2nd Wine-Gastro, Cultural-Religious and Active Tourism Conference organized by Tokaj-Hegyalja University.
Kundi Viktória PhD delivered a presentation entitled “The Role of Tour Guides in Religious and Cultural Travel”, in which she discussed the activities of tour guides related to religious tourism, as well as current challenges and best practices in the interpretation of cultural heritage.
In addition to professional presentations, the two-day event included a field study trip and a wine tasting showcasing wines characteristic of the Tokaj-Hegyalja wine region, further highlighting the area’s rich gastronomic and cultural identity.
The conference provided an excellent opportunity for networking and knowledge sharing among professionals working in the fields of tourism and hospitality in Hungary.
