Dear Students,
A unique and extraordinary opportunity has arisen, open to our 2nd- and 3rd-year undergraduate as well as Master’s students. We are delighted to announce that we have invited Erik Keszthelyi, owner and CEO of the HUNGARIKUM ALKUSZ Group, to hold a special course, and we are now seeking interested applicants.
Students admitted to the course will have the chance to work in teams on real business problems, developing innovative and creative solutions. At the same time, they will gain valuable insights into the personality, mindset, business approach, and ethical considerations of a highly successful entrepreneur with extensive experience in company building and management. For the best students, this joint work may also lead to a company scholarship or even an internship opportunity.
Twenty years ago, Erik Keszthelyi started his own business, which has since grown into a market-leading group that has become an essential player in its sector. Working with him during this unique course is a true privilege.
The CEO offers this joint learning and reflection under the title EXTRA-DIS/COURSE, with limited admission. As an introduction, he will present his personal career path and professional development, shedding light on the decisive crossroads of his entrepreneurial journey: business and management decisions, careful considerations, or sometimes sudden impulses, as well as the complex background of decision-making.
The course is designed to be highly interactive, giving students the chance to reflect on these crossroads: what factors they would take into account when making a decision, what solutions they would propose, and then to discuss and analyse these ideas together.
Erik Keszthelyi’s aim is to share his experiences, dilemmas, successes, and failures, and to observe students’ reactions during this joint problem-solving process, gaining insight into their way of thinking. He is convinced that this “professional meeting between generations” will not only be valuable for students, but also for his own personal growth.
The planned number of participants is minimum 5, maximum 15.
Applicants are asked to submit a motivation letter that convincingly presents:
- why the course attracted their interest,
- what they expect from the joint work,
- what experiences they wish to gain,
- which specific management field (e.g. strategy development, conflict management, change management, project management, employee motivation, personal leadership style, etc.) they would like to explore further,
- what vision they have for their professional career and where they see themselves in five years.
Motivation letters will be evaluated by Erik Keszthelyi and Dr. Adrienn Dernóczi-Polyák, Vice Dean, who will select the participants for the course.
The course will be held in block format. Participation requires registration via the Neptun system for the course Extra DIS/Course KGNB_NETM113.
Application deadline: 12.09.2025
