The first round of the 3rd Tourism and Hospitality Industry Conference and Competition was successfully held on March 26. At the event held in the BGE UniZone conference room, students from several Hungarian higher education institutions – including the Budapest University of Economics (BGE), Széchenyi István University (SZE), and Kodolányi János University (KJE) – presented their professional projects.
In the competition, the “Matyó SZErviz” team representing Széchenyi István University advanced to the five-team final with an outstanding performance. Team members:
- Ákos Pavisa (student majoring in Tourism and Hospitality)
- Ádám Hujber (student majoring in Tourism and Hospitality)
The title of their presentation: “Re-bloom – Let it growl, just let it shine.”
The students’ mentor is Dr. habil. Ferenc Darabos, associate professor and head of the Department of Tourism and Hospitality at the Gyula Kautz Faculty of Economics.
