On May 27–28, 2026, the 3rd National Tourism Competition and Professional Day was held in Tard. The focus of this year’s final, organized by the students of the BGE Gundel Károly College for Advanced Studies, was on slow tourism and creative tourism solutions.
Ádám Hujber and Ákos Pavisa, students of Tourism and Hospitality, achieved 1st place with their presentation titled “Let It Growl, Just Let It Shine” in the competition among student pairs from the top three universities. Their mentor was Dr. habil. Ferenc Darabos, associate professor and program coordinator. Dr. habil. Viktória Kundi, associate professor and head of department, was invited to serve on the professional jury.
The unique venue was provided by Matyodesign, realized from the dreams of Rozi Váczi. We congratulate our students on winning the grand prize of the Matyóróza Guesthouse.
