On 21 November 2025, the letters of credentials for the Advisory Board of the Bachelor’s Degree Program in Business Administration and Management were formally presented at the Kautz Gyula Faculty of Economics at Széchenyi István University. The board’s role is to provide strategic recommendations to support the programme’s development and ensure that the training aligns with the needs of regional and national economic stakeholders.
The following members of the board participated in the programme: Ildikó Korcsok Regional Manager of MBH Bank, Dr. Zoltán Lehóczky Advisor to the Chief Executive Officer of Gránit Bank, János Mészáros Deputy CEO for Strategy and Economics of Budapest Public Utilities Ltd. and Tibor Sárdi certified economist and Honorary Associate Professor.
Further participants were Sándor Remsei PhD Dean, Prof. Éva Happ PhD Head of Training Development Center and Eszter Szabó-Szentgróti PhD program supervisor. The event was opened by Dr. Sándor Remsei, who emphasized that corporate partnerships not only enhance the quality of education but also contribute to students gaining up-to-date, practical knowledge and entering the labor market with competitive degrees.
The members of the Board are representatives of recognized corporate and institutional partners who use their professional experience to support:
• the regular review of curricula,
• the integration of modern business trends and technological changes,
• the development of student projects, internships, and case studies,
• the further strengthening of university-industry relations.
The members of the Advisory Board meet several times a year, participate in the evaluation of training programs, and support the professional foundation of research projects and student competitions. The faculty leadership emphasized that the board’s work will play a decisive role in the coming years in the competitiveness of Széchenyi University’s economics programs, the development of the region’s innovation ecosystem, and the further strengthening of practice-oriented education.
